The Wonders of South Africa - 14 nights

Itinerary :
Day 1: On arrival at ORT International Airport (Johannesburg) you will connect onto a flight to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport where on arrival you will collect your Avis rental car and drive to Jatinga Country House 5* situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of White River, only a mere 4 ½ km from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. The lodge is also within easy driving distance to the many scenic attractions of the Panorama Route, including the Blyde River Canyon, God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the historical mining town of Pilgrim's Rest. Day 2: Jatinga Country House 5*

Day 3: Depart Jatinga Country House 5* and drive to Komati Tented Lodge 5* situated near Barbarton in the Nkomazi Game Reserve for 2 nights. (FB)

Day 4: Komati Tented Lodge 5* Nkomazi Game Reserve

Day 5: Depart Nkomazi Game Reserve and drive south to the Kingdom of Swaziland to the Forresters Arms 4* for 1 night. The Forresters Arms 4* is situated near Mbabane the capital of the Kingdom of Swaziland. (DBB)

Day 6: Depart Kingdom of Swaziland and drive to the Kwazulu Natal Battlefield area of Rorke’s Drift and spend 2 nights at Fugitives Drift 5*. The Zulu War of 1879 is famous throughout the English-speaking world for the great battles of Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift. The spectacular Fugitives’ Drift property, a 5000 acre Natural Heritage Site, overlooks both Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift, and includes the site where Lieutenants Melvill and Coghill lost their lives attempting to save the Queen’s Colour of their regiment. Day 7: Fugitives Drift 5* Rorke’s Drift Kwa Zulu Natal.

Day 8: Depart Fugitives Drift 5* and head for the coast of Kwa Zulu Natal to Umhlanga Rocks where you stay at Anchor’s Rest Guest House 4* for 2 nights. Anchor's Rest Guest House 4* offers upmarket guest suites and is just a short walk to the golden beaches of Umhlanga Rocks. (BB)

Day 9: Anchor’s Rest Guest House 4* Umhlanga Rocks.

Day 10: Drive from Umhlanga Rocks to King Shaka International Airport (Durban) where you will drop off your Avis rental car and fly to Port Elizabeth Airport. On arrival in Port Elizabeth you will collect your Avis rental car and drive 3 hours to Knysna where you will spend 2 nights at Elephant Hide of Knysna Guest Lodge 4* (BB)

Day 11: Elephant Hide of Knysna Guest Lodge 4*

Day 12: Depart Knysna and drive south on the N2 to the winelands town of Franschhhoek where you will overnight at La Petite Ferme Guests Suites, Restaurant and Winery 4* for 1 night. On the side of a mountain, stands La Petite Ferme Guest Suites, Restaurant & Winery 4*. An award-winning Restaurant and boutique Winery La Petite Ferme Guest Suite accommodation is set amongst vineyards on a working wine farm boasting magnificent views over the Franschhoek Valley. (BB)

Day 13: Depart Franschhoek and drive to Cape Town where you will stay at the Winchester Mansions 4* for 2 nights. Winchester Mansions 4* is situated at the famous Sea Point Promenade facing the Atlantic coastline, only minutes from the V&A Waterfront to which guests are offered a complimentary shuttle service. Day 14: Winchester Mansions 4* Sea Point Cape Town

Day 15: Depart Winchester Mansions 4* for Cape Town International Airport where you will return your Avis rental car and fly back home.
